My Parents Follow Perry Stone

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

The first few times, that I read about what Perry Stone was doing, and where he was I was with my parents. They had heard about him from some people at their church and had really started to follow him. At the time, I was visiting them while on vacation and did not pay too much attention to how much they really liked learning of where he was and what he was doing but now that every phone conversation that I have with them, leads back to him, I understand.

I told my sister all about it and she told me that she understood exactly what I was talking about. She usually calls them every other day and hears all about Perry Stone. She said that she thinks it is nice that they have something like that to look forward to. I suppose that since it is not hurting anyone and it gives them something to do that I can stand to hear about it when I call.

I am sure that there are things that I tell my parents that they could really not care about but they still listen and comment when I do it. I guess it is just a little bit of give and take for both of us.

Things you need to know about baby names

Sunday, September 9th, 2007

Pregnancy comes with a lot of decisions, including which stroller to buy, and whether you want to take Lamaze classes, but one decision that will have a long-lasting impact is your choice of a baby name. Baby names are available in comprehensive lists every where – in books, in family trees, on the Internet. There are some useful things to keep in mind while scouting for baby names, which will help you through the process. For instance, it is important to remember that everyone, from your hair dresser to your mother-in-law will have an opinion about your baby’s name. However, the opinions that really matter are those that you and your spouse have. If you don’t want to deal with all that criticism and all that talk, maybe you should keep it a secret until the baby is born. A great moment to announce the name is when you’re announcing the birth – then, as everyone congratulates you, they won’t pick bones with you as far as the name is concerned. There’s so much to do as the due date inches nearer and nearer, and so it is advisable to decide about the name well in advance. Pick out both baby girl names and baby boy names, that way, whatever happens on the day of the delivery, you will have a lovely name picked out for the little one.
