How to Putt it in

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Putting is the final phase in sinking the ball in the hole. A successful “putt” is determined on the amount of force applied on the ball to make it travel as near the cup as possible. Different golfers have different styles in making a successful putt, and I asked one of them to teach me on how to learn to putt. He said that the body positioning and the stroke are important in making short and long distance putts.  Outside interference like wind and the other obstructions on the grass can greatly influence the shot that you are going to make.

It may seem that doing putts can help you learn perfect golf swing, it sounds like a long shot but it is actually true. Putts are important because they are the finishing touches in wrapping things up in a golf course. I still need to learn a lot of things and I decided to focus on my swings and putts. My dad told me that it is the right thing to do and he looks forward to see my improvements on our next game. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when I finally manage to beat him in golf.

Fun Fitness Programs Solved My Wedding Agony

Monday, July 12th, 2010

I was then getting married in two months, and I’m having a hard time fitting my bridal gown. This is one of my agonies and I don’t want my groom to be disappointed on my wedding day! This is the reason why I started to look for gym classes and dance studios in Cary.

When my husband-to-be agreed that I need to have dance lessons to lose weight, I started to look for a good dance school. The one who could provide fun fitness programs and at the same time, will let me have the figure that I need before my wedding day.

Then I finally found the right studio for me. It’s just a few blocks away from my apartment here in North Carolina. The instructors were so nice and they are fun to be with. The programs and exercises are effective and they are giving assurance of achieving results in no time. And a week before my wedding day, I gained the weight and figure that I need! I felt so proud! Thank God I joined that dance school.

The Best Way To Find A Personal Trainer

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

I started out the New Year with a list of things that I wanted to do. I knew that I needed to find a personal trainer and start working out more and eating better. My sister told me that when she set out to find a personal trainer, it took her a couple of tries to find just the right one but she has lost over thirty pounds in just six months by following the right eating and exercise plan that her trainer sets for her.

I looked up a personal trainer directory that has all the personal trainers that are local that have taken the time to be on the site and put them all together. I saw the name of my sister’s personal trainer on there but she was about three hours away and that was just not going to work. I decided to try out three of the names on the personal trainer directory and go with the one that I liked the best. I did not want to waste a lot of time but still wanted to be comfortable with my choice.

If you are looking to find a good personal trainer then you should ask your local gyms if they know of any personal trainer directories for your area and then find one that is best for you.

Growth In The Scottsdale Coed Soccer League

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

There have been a record number of signups this year for the Scottsdale soccer league. I have played the past few years with my buddy Jon, but we have only been a part of it when there were about ten teams and this year, they have said that there will be thirty teams. We are going to go ahead and sign up as free agents this year so that we can possibly be put on a better team than we have had the past few years.

My thought about the thirty teams in the Scottsdale coed soccer league is that it will help the community to become aware of the great things the center is doing. Who knows, maybe next year we will have forty or fifty teams on the Scottsdale soccer league. I am going to hope for a good team this year and then possibly next year, with the growth, I can put together my own team.

After hearing all of my enthusiasm for the growth of the teams, the director of the Scottsdale coed soccer league has asked me to be on the advertising committee to help promote next year’s leagues and see if we can get more people to join.
