Rooms for visitors
Monday, July 19th, 2010When my aunt Doris told us that they will be moving in from Brooklyn, I and my family immediately had a discussion. Fire had burned down their old house, and during the fire restoration Tampa FL work, they have nowhere to live in. Aunt Doris was widowed when her husband, Officer Jean Blanc, died from a tragic accident. She has been living with her two teenage sons; working as a part time teacher and crafts lady to earn for their living. Indeed, life hasn’t been easy for this single mom. And now, this disaster jus adds up to the series of unfortunate events she has to experience.
At this point, my dad told us that temporarily, Aunt Doris and her two sons could live with us. We had an unused space in our garage, which could be transformed into rooms. So we called some room additions Florida company to help us through.
Everyone in the family was eager to help in preparation for our new guests. While the garage was being furnished, we helped out in seeing flea markets for some tables and beddings that could be of use.
When aunt Doris came with my two cousins, their dismal faces turned into a delighted mood when we showed them their new room. While their house is being repaired by fire.
