A Loyal Customer

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

I have been using HP SAN systems for over 6 years now. With a wide array of storage network devise, it really makes file transfer and file storage easy for my company. Before SAN system, our company usually had a lot of trouble transferring and storing data from one computer to another. It was always a burden to my employees to retrieve files because of the complex programming it requires to perform.

Luckily one of my technicians suggests changing our storage system to HP Storage system. At first I had a doubt because as far as I knew, those systems were way too expensive for our company and buying the entire system would cost too much for us. But he told me that there was a site that sells used and that it only cost about half the price of those brand new ones. So I checked out the site and true to his words, to those products was way cheaper than brand new ones and also the brand that I’ve been using for.

Now we are thinking of expanding our business and those we have contacted the site and that we are only waiting for our orders to arrive.

Afraid No More

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

I am never used of buying reconditioned items. I always am in fear that I will just waste my money on it, as I am not so sure that the item was fixed properly. I have heard some friends complaining about refurbished items they bought. They said that the item breaks easily, and they need to pay more to have it fixed. Of course, I do not want to commit the same mistake.

However, when I needed to buy my IBM xSeries unit some parts in order for it to be fixed again, I was forced to buy refurbished ones. It was actually my husband who told me about this online shop where his company bought reconditioned IBM xSeries Servers before. He said that the company is very efficient and the products they sell perform like they are actually brand new.

I also tried to look for xSeries parts in some malls, but I did not have any luck. And so, I grabbed the option of buying Used xSeries components from the shop my husband is talking about, in order to have my unit fixed.

In the end, I was left happy and contended with my decision. Refurbished items are trustworthy after all.

Called In Favors To Get The Poweredge Servers Repaired

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

I just received a call from out store in Chicago; they are having a lot of trouble with their poweredge servers and cannot get a dell repair service to come out till Monday to check them out. I knew that there was no way they could go almost a week with faulty servers, so I called in a few favors. My brother lives about two hours from that store and he has a brother in law that is just as close, who is a dell repair man.

I made the phone call to my brother and explained the situation of how the store was having difficulty with their poweredge servers and asked if there was any way he could call his brother in law and beg him to drive the two hours to Chicago and repair the problem. He told me that he would try and I did not hear back from him for an hour.

In the end, my brother was able to get his brother in law to make the drive and repair the poweredge servers in the store. They are back up and running now and I am glad that I have such a great brother who was willing to help me.

A Used POS Equipment Store Would Be A Good Idea

Monday, January 4th, 2010

I had a hard time finding used pos equipment products in my town and started to look on the internet for some companies that would offer the parts. It took me some time but I did find a used point of sale equipment company and they had incredible deals. In fact they had every product that I have ever used that is point of sale.

I started to use them for every time I needed some used point of sale equipment for my stores instead of driving around town trying to find them. I have given the name of the site to so many different retailers in my town that I think the people that own that site should give me a referral fee.

I am glad that I have found the used pos equipment site and have been able to cut down on all the expenses of searching for what I need. I think that if this site owner would put a store in all the big cities that they could double if not triple the sales for all their used point of sale equipment. All the people that have heard my idea of the big company opening up stores agree.

I Found The Used Poweredge Servers Online

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I was just surfing the web one day and came across a company that was going to make my life much simpler. I had been trying to get the purchase of new servers approved for the last six months with my boss and he always said that the money was not there. I understood that he was not willing to pay five thousand dollars apiece, but I had just discovered a company that sold used servers that had been refurbished for about one third of the five thousand dollars.

I sent him the link to the site, hoping that he would check it out over the weekend and then come in on Monday morning ready to buy. Of course, he was away from his computer all weekend and did not see it until he got to work that week. I knew that if he was not on board with the prices of these used poweredge servers, we would never ever get servers that could handle the workload this office puts on them.

He called me into his office to discuss the used poweredge servers and I was really nervous. He told me that if I could get the computer guys to agree to switch out the old servers and put in the used servers, that he would approve the purchase. It was extremely easy to get the computer tech’s to okay the switch since they were sick of being called in at all hours when the old servers would go down.

The Used Proliant Servers Were All Sold Out

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

The used proliant servers that were advertised in the flyer as being on sale were completely gone ten minutes into the sale. I had stood outside with tons of people hoping to get a chance to buy one but when the store manager came out and told us that they only had about seventy five used proliant servers to sell, I knew that I might as well go home.

I drove back to my apartment to get online to find some kind of good deal for used hp servers that I really needed now since I had failed on getting one at the sale. I really thought that by getting there two hours before the doors opened, I would have a pretty good chance, but there must have been people there four to five hours earlier who thought the same thing that I had.

I was able to find a good website that sold refurbished used hp servers for some good prices, in fact they might have even been a little cheaper than what the sale servers would have been after tax and shipping though, I would probably pay a little more than ten percent more. I knew that it would still be a good buy and I would be happy with it when it was delivered.

The Stock Room Is Filled With Used Cisco Parts

Monday, December 21st, 2009

I had never been down in the stock room before today, and I was amazed at how much used cisco parts we had. I guess that this company is prepared for anything breaking down. I am sure that at least one of everything related to the computer system is right here in this room on one of these many shelves.

I am going to pay more attention when the cisco repair team come in next time and see if they actually use any of the parts from the stock room. I am sure that they are the ones who sold them to us but why would they sell used cisco parts when they can just order you a new one and add on commission.

I found out that the man who owns the cisco repair team is brothers with my boss. This would explain the special treatment that we get. I suppose that the other brother has a website that was built for free and he probably does not pay hosting fees either.

I have decided not to ask the cisco repair team any questions, since one of them could be the bosses brother and he would probably run to his brother and tell him that one of his employees is asking stupid questions.
