Flashing Novelties Sold at Craft Fair
I was hoping to have a little booth at the craft fair that my church puts on every year. I am not that great at making things but asked if I had items for sale that little kids would like, if that would be okay. The director told me that as long as they were safe items, then I could do it.
I then had to come up with items to sell. I started by searching online for ideas. I came across a company that sold flashing novelties and glowing face paint. I figured that I could sell the flashing items and make a really good profit. I have seen little kids with glowing necklaces and bracelets all the time at fairs and stuff.
I was going to have my teenage daughters come and set up a face painting stand right next to my flashing novelties table too. I remembered how much my girls loved having their faces painted when they were little. I can remember standing in very long lines to get the girls faces painted and I was hoping that we would have the same effect with our glowing face paint.
The day of the craft fair, we had a line for about four hours straight. I sold out of the flashing novelties in less than three hours. The girls figured that they must have painted about four hundred little faces. They had a great time and we raised a lot of money for the church at the same time.
